WHO IS THE DEACS?

Members of the Delaware Chapter are afforded the opportunity to engage with other surgeons in their community at the local level by networking and building strong relationships with colleagues, participating in advocacy and educational activities, and by giving back to the profession through volunteering, mentoring, and leading young surgeons in Delaware. We are guided by our mission and vision below.

Mission

To provide the foundation for uniting all surgical specialties throughout Delaware. To promote and inspire the highest standards of surgical care for our community, to educate and mentor residents and one another.


VISION

To train, attract to Delaware, and retain the highest quality surgeons in the country. To mentor students, residents, and attending surgeons to become involved in the ACS and develop into local and national leaders.
